digestif - Hématome intramural colique post-traumatique

L’hématome intramural colique est une complication rare des traumatismes abdominaux. Les auteurs rapportent l’observation d’un patient de 32 ans hospitalisé pour douleurs abdominales survenues après un traumatisme abdominal. Le diagnostic initial a été effectué en tomodensitométrie et confirmé par la coloscopie. Alors que la majorité des hématomes intramuraux coliques post-traumatiques nécessite un traitement chirurgical, ici une simple surveillance clinico-radiologique a été proposée et une résolution spontanée a été constatée en tomodensitométrie.

Intramural hematoma of the colon is a rare complication of blunt abdominal trauma. We report the case of a 32-year-old man who presented with abdominal pain related to blunt trauma. The initial diagnosis of post-traumatic intramural hematoma of the colon was performed at CT scan and proven at colonoscopy. Although the majority of cases warrant surgery, conservative therapy was proposed in the present case with spontaneous resolution of the hematoma demonstrated by CT scan.
