Résumé |
Although the Constitution of the Italian Republic protects the Health this is not true for Sexual Health(SH). There is not a defined specialist for Sexual Health, there are no Operative Units for SH, there no widespread and shared information for SH, male adolescents are not followed for their regular pubertal growth and erectile dysfunction treatments are not covered by National Health System.
We urgently need radical changes in culture and in Laws so as to establish Sexual Health rights. These rights are:
• | To have the highest attainable standard of Sexual Health, including access to sexual and reproductive health care services; |
• | Seek, receive and impart information related to Sexual Health; |
• | We founded an association for Sexual Health Rights (AIDASS) who wants to promote all those initiatives to affirm the Sexual Health Rights both culturally and politically. |
• | Within a political matter we propose to collect in Italy signatures given by at least 50.000 people for a Popular Initiative of Law in order to propose it to the Italian Parliament with the following principles: |
• | In every secondary school |
• | Screening program for regular growth of puberty |
• | Courses on Sexual Health |
• | Free access of a medical booth for early treatment of sexual dysfunction |
• | At National Health System level |
• | 3 Hospital scattered North Centre and South devoted to Sexual Health |
• | Sexual Medicine Unit in every Hospital |
• | Erectile dysfunction drug Reimbursement by National Health System |
