Médiation de l'eau dans l'autisme : Joachim ou la construction d'une première peau psychique

Le cadre des jeux d'eau — pièce avec bassin peu profond et zone sèche, avec robinets, tuyaux-douche, miroir et jouets — constitue une indication particulièrement intéressante dans le traitement de l'autisme : le travail thérapeutique est en effet axé autour de la récupération d'un premier sentiment d'enveloppe, grâce à l'exploration des caractéristiques spécifiques de ce cadre, qui correspondent pour l'enfant à la projection de son enveloppe corporelle dans l'espace. La médiation de l'eau permet notamment d'effectuer un travail d'intégration sensorielle fondamental pour l'enfant autiste, à partir de la dimension sensorielle de cet espace thérapeutique et des différentes modalités des liens aux thérapeutes, qui vont se déployer dans tous les registres sensoriels et passent par des accordages affectifs. Cet article mettra particulièrement l'accent sur le rôle joué par l'interaction du visuel et du tactile, par l'exploration de la bouche, par le travail de l'enveloppe sonore, et par l'exploration du cadre matériel dans le travail de construction de la peau psychique chez un enfant autiste.

This article will stress the role played by the interaction of visual, tactile, oral exploration; by the work on the sound envelope and by the exploration of the material framework in the task of constructing a psychic skin in an autistic child.
