Faux anévrysme sur prothèse en dacron, vingt ans après pontage aortofémoral

Un faux anévrysme non anastomotique, non septique, chez un homme de 85 ans, survenu vingt ans après pontage aortofémoral en dacron a été traité par résection/greffe prothéto-fémorale profonde droite en PTFE, avec suites simples. Du fait de la proximité de l'anastomose fémorale et de l'existence d'une sténose ostiale de l'artère fémorale profonde, un traitement chirurgical conventionnel a été préféré à un traitement endovasculaire.

A 85-year-old male developped a false, non septic, non anastomotic aneurysm, 20 years after right aorto-femoral Dacron grafting for claudication. On account of the proximity to the femoral anastomosis, and the association with a profunda femoris stenosis, a conventional surgical repair was preferred to an endovascular treatment. The patient underwent a successful aneurysm resection followed by PTFE interposition between the primary graft and the profunda femoris artery, with uneventful recovery.
