To teach the technique of examination and the normal US anatomy of the main nerves of the upper extremity.
To present pathological cases that will underline the possibilities of US in diagnosing disorders affecting the nerves of the upper extremity.

The nerves of the upper extremity are well visualized when US is performed with a high-resolution equipment.
Knowledge of the normal anatomy is a definite prerequisite for a successful US examination.
US is more panoramic then MRI in the assessment of the nerves of the upper extremity.
US can detect internal pathologic changes of nerves as well as disorders of the adjacent structures that can result in nerves compression.
