Les Comptes rendus Chimie, un objectif : des échanges scientifiques de haut niveau entre les différentes sous-disciplines de la chimie. Les Comptes rendus Chimie publient mensuellement des travaux de recherches originaux (notes, mémoires courts) et des articles de synthèse (mises au point, chroniques historiques) dans tous les domaines de la chimie (organique, inorganique, bio-organique, bio-inorganique, organométallique, macromoléculaire, physique, à l'état solide...). Le volume de pages publiées annuellement fait une large place à des numéros portant sur une thématique particulière. Les articles sont rédigés en langue anglaise ou française.
