The Annales d'Endocrinologie, mouthpiece of the French Society of Endocrinology (SFE), publishes original reviews (upon request by the Editor-in-Chief, or proposals sent to the Editorial Board), as well as articles and case reports of particular interest, coming mainly from clinical and therapeutic research in endocrinology and metabolic diseases. Manuscripts on fundamental research can also be published provided they have a direct impact for clinicians.

Every year, the Annales d'Endocrinologie reports guidelines on an endocrine disease written by a work-group of expert endocrinologists from the Society.

The journal is also the organ of the Society's Annual Meeting, publishing a summary of the symposia, presentations and posters. Finally, the journal also publishes high-level instructional courses delivered during the Henri-Pierre Klotz International Endocrinology Days, as well as position statements written by experts under the auspices of the French Health Authorities (Protocole National de Diagnostic et de Soins), or during dedicated meetings such as the Endocrine Tumor Groupe (Groupe des Tumeurs Endocrines) and the Pituitary Reference Center day (Club Hypophyse).

The Annales is a window on the world, keeping alert clinicians up to date on what is going on in diagnosis and treatment in all the areas of our specialty.
