What’s new in dermatological research?

Cet article offre une sélection de travaux de recherche dermatologique publiés entre septembre 2016 et août 2017 : les articles apportant un éclairage physiologique ou physiopathologique nouveau ou dont les résultats permettent d’envisager de nouveaux traitements et une modification de la pratique de la dermatologie ont été privilégiés. Les articles sélectionnés traitent notamment de la reconnaissance d’image par intelligence artificielle (IA) et de nouveaux concepts concernant la dermatite atopique (DA), la réparation cutanée et le cycle pilaire. Des nouveautés concernant la mélanomagenèse, l’épidermolyse bulleuse héréditaire simple (EBS) et les toxidermies sont également abordées.

This manuscript provides a selection of dermatological research manuscripts published from September 2016 to August 2017. It is not an exhaustive review but rather a selection of manuscripts susceptible to modify the dermatological practice or affording new pathophysiologic mechanisms and new therapeutic approaches. The following areas of interest are concerned: recognition of dermatological images by artificial intelligence, new concepts in atopic dermatitis, wound repair and hair growth cycle. New data concerning melanomagenesis, epidermolysis bullosa simplex and drug eruption are also highlighted.
