Intraoperative hypothermia is a frequent complication in anaesthesia, with significant consequences on patient morbidity and mortality. A polycentric study has been conducted to identify the reasons for the persistence of a high incidence of hypothermic patients in the post-operative monitoring room, despite the long history of this topic and the publication of formalized expert recommendations by the French Society for Anesthesia and Resuscitation in 2018. Several recommendations are proposed to remedy this situation.
