L’auteur interroge le projet et les pratiques des soins palliatifs de nos jours. Initialement fondés sur une phénoménologie du manque et de la présence à l’autre, résolument contre l’abandon par la médecine des sujets porteurs de maladie létale, ils se sont ensuite développés en rupture et en réaction à la technicisation des soins et de la relation soignante, prônant l’approche globale. Que sont-ils devenus ?

The author questions the project and the practices of palliative care today. Initially based on a phenomenology of lack and presence to the other, resolutely against the abandonment by medicine of subjects with lethal disease, they then developed in rupture and in reaction to the technicalisation of care and the carer-patient relationship, advocating the comprehensive approach. What happened to them?
