Abstract |
Pediatric cases of post-traumatic hemangioma of the palm are rare. Clinical evaluation and imaging are sometimes ambiguous and surgical exploration may show more conclusive results. This case report discusses the diagnosis and treatment of a teenager with post-traumatic hemangioma infiltrating the flexor digitorum profundus tendon of the index finger. Pathologic examination revealed a lobular capillary hemangioma known as pyogenic granuloma.

Les cas pédiatriques de formation d'hémangiome post-traumatique de la paume sont rares. L’évaluation clinique et imagerie sont parfois ambigües et l'exploration chirurgicale peut donner des résultats plus concluants. Ce rapport concene un jeune adolescent avec formation d'hémangiome post-traumatique, infiltrant le tendon flexor digitorum profundus de l'index. Les résultats anatomopathologiques ont révélé un hémangiome capillaire lobulaire connu sous le nom de granulome pyogénique.
