L’Organisation mondiale de la santé fait référence à la notion de bien-être pour définir la santé, le considérant comme la satisfaction des besoins et l’accomplissement des capacités physiques, intellectuelles et spirituelles. Centré sur le nouveau-né et sa mère, le programme Initiative hôpital Ami des bébés (Ihab) participe, via un accompagnement soutenant et à l’écoute des rythmes, à ce qu’ils éprouvent tous les deux cet état de bien-être si important durant les premiers jours de vie.

The World Health Organisation refers to the notion of well-being to define health, considering it as the satisfaction of needs and the fulfilment of physical, intellectual and spiritual capacities. Focusing on the satisfaction of newborn and mother’ needs, the Baby Friendly Hospital Initiative programme contributes, through a supportive and rhythmic accompaniment, to both of them experiencing this state of well-being that is so important during the first days of life.
