Highlights |
• | An increased risk of lymphoma is observed in patients with rheumatoid arthritis (RA), lupus and primary Sjögren syndrome (pSS). |
• | In contrast to what is observed in lymphoma complicating pSS, we did not detect any association between the TNFAIP3 rs2230926 variant and RA-related lymphoma. |
• | Mechanisms leading to lymphomagenesis in RA remain partially understood and require further study. |
