Le dispositif “Investir dans l’attachement” se préoccupe de l’écologie psychosociale périnatale, c’est-à-dire de ce qui environne les familles et leur bébé. Il le fait au niveau proximal en offrant un appui psychosocial direct ; communautaire par le biais de la formation et du soutien aux professionnels ; sociétal et politique pour que le temps de la périnatalité s’ancre dans la culture et que soient reconnus les besoins physiologiques et psychologiques du bébé et des parents, de la fin de la grossesse au post-partum.

The “Investing in Attachment” program is concerned with the perinatal psychosocial ecology, i.e., the environment of families and their babies. It does so at the proximal level by offering direct psychosocial support; at the community level through training and support for professionals; and at the societal and political levels so that the perinatal period is anchored in the culture and the physiological and psychological needs of the baby and parents are recognized, from the end of pregnancy to the postpartum period.
