Evaluation of the system for receiving secondary school pupils with anxiety-based school refusal in the Haute-Garonne department

Le refus scolaire anxieux (RSA), anciennement phobie scolaire, entraîne un important décrochage scolaire chez les élèves. Un dispositif d’accueil de lycéens souffrant de RSA existe à Toulouse depuis 2017 avec l’objectif de rescolariser ces élèves. Nous proposons une analyse de ce dispositif, dans le but d’évaluer le retour à la scolarité des élèves à la rentrée suivant la participation au dispositif et la poursuite de la scolarité ordinaire les années suivantes, ainsi que la satisfaction des familles vis-à-vis de ce dispositif.

Anxiety-based school refusal (ASR), formerly school phobia, leads to significant school dropout among students. A support system for high school students suffering from ASR has existed in Toulouse since 2017 with the aim of re-schooling these students. We propose an evaluation of this system, with the intend of assessing the return to school of students at the start of the school year following participation in the system and the continuation of ordinary schooling in the following years, as well as the satisfaction of families with the system.
