Contexte |
La satisfaction des patients est une mesure essentielle pour les kinésithérapeutes. Il existe peu de questionnaires valides qui évaluent ce construit dans un contexte francophone. Cette étude visait à traduire, adapter et valider le Physical Therapy Outpatient Satisfaction Survey.
Méthodes |
Le questionnaire a été traduit en français, avant d’être administré à un échantillon de 85 patients recrutés dans deux hôpitaux d’une zone métropolitaine. La structure factorielle du questionnaire a été évaluée via l’analyse factorielle exploratoire et confirmatoire. La consistance interne et la fiabilité test-retest ont été évaluées respectivement via les coefficients moyens de corrélation inter-items et les coefficients de corrélation intraclasse.
Résultats |
L’analyse factorielle a montré que la version française du questionnaire est une échelle composée des dimensions suivantes : Localisation, Kinésithérapeute, Personnel et Flexibilité. La consistance interne de toutes les dimensions était bonne ; la fiabilité test-retest de Localisation était modérée, celle des autres dimensions était bonne.
Conclusion |
La version française du questionnaire a de bonnes propriétés psychométriques.

Background |
Patient satisfaction is a key measure for physiotherapists. There is a lack of valid questionnaires assessing this construct in a French-speaking context. This study aimed to translate, adapt and validate the Physical Therapy Outpatient Satisfaction Survey.
Methods |
The questionnaire was translated into French and administered to a sample of 85 patients recruited from 2 hospitals in a metropolitan area. Factor structure was assessed using Exploratory and Confirmatory Factor Analysis. Internal consistency and test-retest reliability were assessed using mean inter-item correlation and intraclass correlation coefficients, respectively.
Results |
Factorial analysis revealed that the French version of the questionnaire is a scale comprising the following dimensions: Location, Physiotherapist, Personnel and Flexibility. Internal consistency was good for all dimensions, and test-retest reliability was moderate for Location and good for the remaining dimensions.
Conclusions |
The French version of the questionnaire has good psychometric properties.
