T10-O-16 Research about variation of affective perception in women submitted to Voluntary Interruption of Pregnancy (IVG) - 27/06/08
Résumé |
Objective |
Our study is about researching any variation of affectivity in women who voluntary accept the interruption of their pregnancy. We want to discuss this big problem.
Design and method |
We’ve examined a lot of subjects and submitted some tests. Every woman, before operation, has been asked to complete a questionnaire concerning the changes in feminine sexual functions (FSFI reduced form) and an anonymous questionnaire focusing: nationality, age, schooling etc. In five months about 300 women spontaneously entered in this group.
Results |
This research makes evident the real situation of these women compelled to nip in the bud their hope of love.
The pattern shows: 60% Italian women, 40% stranger.
Schooling: 5 years 16%; 8 years 52%, 13 years 11%, 18 or more 18%.
Relapsing subjects: about 35% - more than 1/3…!
We have been compelled to give primary information about sexual practices through our doctors.
Every woman has received the opportunity to take the pill or use the IUD (Intra Uterine Device) at the same time of her operation.
Conclusions |
It is clear that in the future we need a sort of Counselling Centre for social claims. Our purpose is to continue this study and enlarge this research for a period of almost 12 months.
