AAD Guidelines of Care: How did we get here and where are we going? - 29/08/11
Abstract |
In 1987 the American Academy of Dermatology began to create Guidelines of Care for clinical disease processes in dermatology. The format of the guidelines has changed dramatically over the past several years; now all of the recent guidelines are in the evidence-based style. These guidelines have been recognized nationally both in print and on the World Wide Web, establishing dermatologists as the skin experts. We believe that these guidelines continue to serve as effective educational tools for dermatologists around the world. (J Am Acad Dermatol 2003;48:978-80.)
