Hahnemann’s Organon is one of the essential and founding texts of homeopathy. When French-speaking homeopaths refer to it, they use the only translated version available. This translation presents some issues with regard to its accuracy. Various additions, deletions and modifications were made by the translator to significant paragraphs of the original German work. French-speaking homeopaths, when they cite certain concepts taken from the Organon, refer to the French translation. It would be preferable to look back at the original text and to only quote the Organon when the legitimacy of this translation can be guaranteed.
