Total opacification on the anterior surface of a hydrophilic intraocular lens |
We report a case of cloudiness occurring on the anterior surface of a hydrophilic acrylic foldable intraocular lens 1 year following implantation. This was not a case of phimosis of the capsulorhexis; the dondiness scemed secondary to fibroepithelial proliferation. Successful reopening was obtained with YAG laser. No recurrence was observed during the six months of follow-up.
