Examples of agreement and disagreement of the two imaging techniques. Focal leakage in the area surrounding the FAZ is detected in the FFA (top right) while the CF image does not show any abnormalities (top left). In the second set of images the CF (second line left) missed the microaneurysms that were picked up by the FFA (second line right). FFA image (third line right) showed microvascular alterations including a region of ischemia in the parafoveal area which were not detected on the CF image (third line left). Presence of DR abnormalities (intraretinal hemorrhage) on both imaging techniques (bottom left and right).
