Abstract

We show that the Lie groups Sp(n ,1) satisfy the Baum-Connes conjecture with arbitrary coefficients. The main tool is the construction, due to Cowling, of a family of uniformly bounded representations. To cite this article: P. Julg, C. R. Acad. Sci. Paris, Ser. I 334 (2002) 533-538.
