Résumé

Le boudin prolabé par l’anus est une rare complication des invaginations intestinales du nourrisson. Cette complication est secondaire le plus souvent à un défaut d’accolement du cæcum et à un mésentère long. Les auteurs rapportent 3 cas d’invagination intestinale avec boudin prolabé par l’anus, et revoient les aspects anatomopathologiques et thérapeutiques de cette situation, ainsi que les particularités diagnostiques des invaginations intestinales aiguës dans un pays africain.

Summary

Rectal prolapse is a rare complication of intussusception in infants. This complication is most often secondary to a side by side placing defect of the caecum and a long mesenter. Three cases of rectal prolapse of intussuception are reported herein and the pathologic and therapeutic aspects of the intussucseption complicated by rectal prolapse, as well as the particularities of intussusception diagnosis in an African country, are reviewed.
