La majorité des accidents d’anesthésie surviennent chez l’enfant en période postopératoire. Ils se traduisent le plus souvent par des détresses respiratoires. Connaître les particularités physiologiques et organiques de l’enfant est nécessaire pour adapter la prise en charge.
