Résumé

Nous rapportons l’observation d’un enfant de 9 ans présentant un hémothorax lié à une exostose costale dans le cadre de la maladie exostosante multiple héréditaire. Il s’agit d’une complication rare, peu décrite chez l’enfant et de physiopathologie encore mal connue.

Summary

We report a case of spontaneous hemothorax in a 9-year-old boy due to costal exostosis in the context of hereditary multiple exostosis disease. This is an unusual complication, whose pathophysiology remains unclear.
