L'érythème noueux est une dermatose devenue rare chez l'enfant. Il peut révéler une maladie des griffes du chat dont l'agent microbien responsable est Bartonella henselae . Nous rapportons l'observation d'un adolescent de 15 ans qui présentait un érythème noueux associé à des adénopathies inguinales bilatérales. Le diagnostic de maladie des griffes du chat a été confirmé par la sérologie positive vis-à-vis de B. henselae. Malgré une antibiothérapie adaptée, l'évolution a été marquée par une abcédation des adénopathies inguinales, nécessitant un drainage chirurgical.

Conclusion. - La survenue d'un érythème noueux chez l'enfant doit faire rechercher, entre autres causes, une maladie des griffes du chat.

Erythema nodosum rarely occurs in childhood and can be caused by cat scratch disease, as a result of agent Bartonella henselae. We report the case of a teenager who presented erythema nodosum and bilateral inguinal adenitis. Cat scratch disease diagnosis was confirmed by anti-Bartonella henselae serologies. Despite an appropriate antibiotic therapy, evolution was unfavourable with adenitis abcedation requiring surgical drainage.

Conclusion. - Erythema nodosum in children must let think to cat scratch disease among others etiologies.
