Résumé

Le progrès principal en ophtalmopédiatrie est la reconnaissance de l'importance et de l'efficacité du dépistage des anomalies de la réfraction. Ce dépistage doit être le plus précoce possible, permettant un équipement optique qui évite les complications : amblyopie, strabisme. Ce dépistage permet dans le même temps la découverte des anomalies organiques autorisant un traitement précoce.

Abstract

The main progress in ophthalmopediatrics is the knowledge of the importance and efficacy of visual refraction defects screening. This screening has to be the earliest possible, allowing a glass equipment preventing complications: amblyopia, strabismus. This screening allows the same time screening of organic anomalies and early treatment.
