Résumé

En chirurgie digestive programmée, l’atteinte de l’objectif thérapeutique se fait très souvent au détriment d’un résultat nutritionnel médiocre, impactant à un degré variable la qualité de vie au long terme du patient. Pourtant, une prise en charge coordonnée et précoce peut permettre de prévenir les conséquences nutritionnelles, trop souvent négligées. Le but de ce travail a été double : 1) évoquer les principales causes et mécanismes de la dénutrition induite par la chirurgie digestive elle-même ; 2) mettre l’accent sur le retentissement nutritionnel propre aux principaux types d’intervention et de discuter en parallèle la prise en charge à proposer pour prévenir ces conséquences délétères.

Abstract

In planned digestive surgery, reach therapeutic goal is often associated to poor nutritional result which affects variously over long-term patient’s quality of life. Nevertheless, a coordinated and early management could prevent nutritional consequences, too often neglected. Aim of this work was double: 1) remind main reasons and mechanisms of undernutrition induced by digestive surgery; 2) focus on nutritional impact due to each digestive surgery and suggest nutritional strategy to prevent it.
