Distribution of macular pigment optical density (MPOD) in phakic and pseudophakic patients of Group B, at the visit of inclusion (V0 MPOD) (Fig. 3A) and at visit 4 (V4 MPOD), which corresponds to the end of supplementation (Fig. 3B). Phakic patients tended to have a significantly higher MPOD levels than pseudophakic patients at both visits (P <0.001).
