Distribution of macular pigment optical density (MPOD) in Group A (pseudophakic patients without any retinal pathology) and in pseudophakic patients of Group B, at the visit of inclusion (V0 MPOD) (Fig. 5A) and at visit 4 (V4 MPOD), which corresponds to the end of supplementation (Fig. 5B). MPOD levels tended to be significantly lower in Group A compared to pseudophakic patients of Group B at both visits (P <0.05).
