This is a transthoracic 3D image with the left atrioventricular valve viewed from the ventricular aspect. The sutured “cleft” (*) between the superior bridging leaflet and the inferior bridging leaflet can be clearly visualized as well as the triangular shaped mural leaflet. The ventricular septum is indictated by the arrow heads (>).
