z De nombreux centres hospitaliers ont été fortement sollicités pendant l’épidémie de Covid-19 z Au Centre hospitalier sud francilien (Essonne), l’ensemble du personnel du bloc opératoire s’est impliqué pour venir en soutien de la réanimation pérenne de l’établissement et pour ouvrir des réanimations éphémères pouvant accueillir des patients aux formes graves du virus z Malgré cette forte mobilisation du personnel, l’activité de chirurgie d’urgence et la sécurité des soins en salle de naissance ont pu être maintenues tout au long de la crise.

Many hospital centres were under heavy strain during the COVID-19 epidemic. At the Centre Hospitalier Sud-Francilien (Essonne), all the operating theatre staff were involved in supporting the long-term intensive care unit of the establishment and in opening ephemeral intensive care unit that could accommodate patients with severe forms of COVID. Despite this strong mobilisation of staff, emergency surgery activity and safety of care in the delivery room were maintained throughout the crisis.
