Résumé |
Introduction |
Conclusion |

Introduction |
The aim of this work is to ass the value of medication reviews (MR) and personalized pharmaceutical interviews (PPI) associated with the first dispensing of experimental oral treatments, and the satisfaction of participants with their implementation in an early phase cancer trial center.
Materials and methods |
Between December 1, 2019 and May 15, 2020, 43 patients were seen by the pharmaceutical team during the screening visit, and 35 MR and 8 PPI were performed.
Results and discussion |
Analysis of MR showed a contribution of new information for 69% of the patients, and the redaction of 43 pharmaceutical interventions, of which 67% were related to the research protocol. Eight patients out of the 30 finally included in a clinical trial presented toxicities that could be linked to co-medications and were predicted by the pharmacist during the MR. The satisfaction questionnaires carried out with patients and healthcare professionals emphasize the usefulness of the actions implemented (100% positive opinions), but also the adequacy of their content and format to patient and professional expectations.
Conclusion |
This paper shows the feasibility and interest of implementing this type of action for patients included in early phase trials in oncology.
