Medicolegal Cases often encountered by emergency medicine doctors involve incidents like accidents, abuse, or violence that require legal investigation to determine criminal liability. These cases include poisoning, burns, and injuries from various causes. The proposed study is a questionnaire-based cross-sectional survey conducted on 220 doctors at a tertiary care hospital. An electronic questionnaire, based on prior research, was administered through a Google Form shared on social media. Participants completed the survey after reviewing the Information Sheet and giving informed consent. This study reveals a positive attitude among healthcare professionals toward acquiring knowledge on medicolegal cases and legal responsibilities. Despite this, notable gaps remain in practical knowledge and confidence, particularly in areas such as evidence preservation and compliance with legal mandates like court summons. The unanimous support for dedicated training programs underscores a clear recognition of the need for structured, practical medico-legal education to bridge these deficiencies.
