Les auteurs montrent les difficultés d’analyse de l’évaluation d’un état antérieur chez les adultes ayant subi un attentat terroriste générateur d’un syndrome post-traumatique à l’origine d’un bouleversement du mode de fonctionnement psychique. La prise en compte d’un éventuel état antérieur est un moment important de l’expertise ; toutefois, le vécu traumatique des victimes doit être appréhendé dans sa totalité, avec le souci de tenir compte du besoin de reconnaissance de la victime.

The authors show the difficulties of analyzing the evaluation of a previous state in adults who have suffered a terrorist attack generating post-traumatic syndrome causing a disruption of the psychic functioning mode. The taking into account of a possible previous state is an important moment of the expertise. However, the traumatic experience of the victims must be understood in its entirety with the concern to take into account the need for recognition of the victim.
