Resumen

Coats' disease (primary retinal telangiectasis) is an idiopathic disorder characterized by telangiectatic and aneurysmal retinal vessels with progressive deposition of intraretinal and subretinal exudates that leads to massive exudative retinal detachment. Stage 1 includes eyes with only focal exudates. In stage 2, eyes show massive intraretinal exudation. Eyes with stage 3 disease display partial exudative retinal detachment, whereas in stage 4 the retina is totally detached.
