Plantar reflex has been an integral component of neurological examination since its introduction more than a century ago. Despite its simplicity of description, elicitation and interpretation of the reflex and inter-observer agreement have not proven as easily achievable or perfect as the original succinct description promises. We propose a method and a simple tool to grade and standardize performance of plantar reflex among different observers and patients.
