The benefits of hybrid operating suites are well documented. At Baptist Cardiac and Vascular Institute, the utility, safety and effectiveness of a hybrid interventional radiology suite continues to be demonstrated with optimal patient outcomes for endovascular aneurysm repair procedures. This article describes the redesign and upgrades to the suite, operational and cost efficiency measures implemented, and the creation of a team of highly competent hybrid staff.
