Symptoms of voiding dysfunction will occur in the majority of patients with multiple sclerosis (MS). As such, a good understanding of bladder function and dysfunction is important for any physician who manages patients with MS. This article familiarizes the physician with normal bladder function and dysfunction, along with various treatment modalities available to safely manage and improve the overall quality of life for patients with MS.
