T03-P-05 I give you something but not myself - 27/06/08
Résumé |
Objectives |
Assistance and social integration within the article 18 of T.U. on immigration, where my involvement in the project “Roxana” derives from, a project aimed to fight against situations of violence related to women trade for sexual exploitation.
Material and methods |
The mobile units, which I am a part of, acts in favour of a direct contact on the road, informing and monitoring in order to prevent and reduce damages by the distribution of materials like extra-strong condoms, sweet-smelling condoms for oral sex and vaginal lubricants.
The approach opens up to the communication and the personal exchange, while the distribution of aids has the intent to speed sexual relationship and limit pain.
Results |
I noticed that after a short trial period some girls rejected vaginal lubricants according to the following reason:“I don’t like that he might think I take pleasure”. It seems that the aim to offer some facilitations by using lubricants, while it emerges the claim of human dignity.
Conclusions |
A consideration arises about the psychological elaboration of the girls, who seem to think of the customers: “you pay me so I give you a service, but you aren’t a man such as to give me pleasure”.
This quick consideration is worth monitoring for a closer examination and it gets me to think that girls prefer missing the facilitation of lubricants, so that the customers don’t have the feeling that they are selling themselves completely.
