Ce cas clinique met en lumière l’intérêt de l’utilisation du Panneau Panoramique Stéréoscopique de Bauwens dans la rééducation orthoptique d’une patiente souffrant du mal des transports également appelé cinétose. Venant en complément de la rééducation dite « classique » il a permis de rétablir, en vision dynamique, un juste équilibre entre la perception centrale (fixation) et la perception périphérique (flux optique) afin de réduire ou d’éliminer les réactions neurovégétatives handicapantes chez cette patiente.

This clinical case highlights the benefits of using the Bauwens Stereoscopic Panoramic Panel in the orthoptic rehabilitation of a patient suffering from motion sickness, also known as kinetosis. As a complement to traditional rehabilitation, it enabled the restoration, through dynamic vision, of a proper balance between central perception (fixation) and peripheral perception (optical flow), thereby reducing or eliminating the debilitating autonomic reactions experienced by this patient.
