Depuis 2019, l’instruction est obligatoire pour les enfants âgés de 3 ans. Si cette étape semble une évidence pour garantir le droit et l’accès à l’éducation dès le plus jeune âge, elle reste souvent une période de transition complexe pour le jeune enfant et sa famille. La puéricultrice en crèche est une actrice majeure pour accompagner, avec son équipe, cette étape. Par ses compétences, elle intervient tout autant auprès de l’enfant que dans l’accompagnement à la parentalité ou encore la coordination, afin d’assurer le suivi de l’enfant et une continuité pédagogique et/ou de soins.

Since 2019, education has been mandatory for 3-year-olds. While this step may seem obvious as a way to guarantee the right to and access to education from a very young age, it often remains a complex transition period for young children and their families. The childcare worker at the daycare center plays a key role, alongside her team, in supporting children through this transition. Drawing on her expertise, she works directly with the child, provides parenting support, and coordinates efforts to ensure the child’s well-being and continuity in education and/or care.
