Émilie Thirault, infirmière puéricultrice en néonatalogie, est titulaire d’un diplôme universitaire en lactation humaine et allaitement maternel. Après un premier refus de financement par son établissement, son projet a été mené à bien grâce au soutien de son entourage, de sa hiérarchie et d’une association hospitalière. Forte de l’expertise conférée par cet enseignement, elle mène des consultations spécialisées, forme ses collègues et enseigne aux futures auxiliaires de puériculture. Elle a également diversifié ses missions en devenant coordinatrice du parcours Cocon. Émilie Thirault, a paediatric nurse specialising in neonatology, holds a university degree in human lactation and breastfeeding. After her application for funding was initially rejected by her organisation, her project was successfully carried out thanks to the support of her family and friends, her line managers and a hospital association. Armed with the expertise gained from this training, she runs specialist consultations, trains her colleagues and teaches trainee paediatric nursing assistants.
