Accidents involving exposure to blood in pharmacies

A survey of pharmacy staff revealed an incomplete understanding of this risk, procedures that are sometimes lacking, and a significant need for information and training. The prevention and management of blood exposure incidents in pharmacies are critical to occupational health and the quality of practice.
