Duodenal metastasis from a primary angiosarcoma of the colon - 17/08/11
| Commentary Angiosarcoma of the colorectum is a very rare tumor that is highly aggressive and has a poor outcome. It is not multifocal and so the duodenal lesion, indeed, probably represented a metastasis. Duodenal metastases are most common with local tumors in the pancreas, the stomach, or the kidneys but are also seen with breast cancer. Biopsy or removal is essential for diagnosis. Lawrence J.
