À la croisée de la physiologie de l’allaitement maternel, de la rééducation maxillofaciale et de la thérapie manuelle, la kinésithérapie en allaitement maternel fait partie de la kinésithérapie pédiatrique. Elle vise à résoudre les problèmes d’allaitement maternel dont l’origine est un dysfonctionnement du système musculosquelettique maxillofacial et global du nouveau-né pour permettre un allaitement satisfaisant, heureux et sans douleur.

At the crossroads of breastfeeding physiology, maxillofacial re-education and manual therapy, Breastfeeding Physiotherapy is part of pediatric physiotherapy. Its aim is to resolve breastfeeding problems caused by dysfunction of the newborn’s maxillofacial musculoskeletal system, to ensure that breastfeeding is satisfactory, happy and pain-free.
