Highlights |
• | Dexamethasone did not result in a statistically significant decrease in postoperative pain. |
• | The consumption of analgesics tended to be lower in dexamethasone group when compared with the control. |
• | The positive effects of corticosteroids, except for the reduction of PONV, remain unclear. |
