December is the traditional season of giving, and I’m proud to say that my contributions each year include a donation to the Academy’s Foundation – the only charitable organization that is dedicated exclusively to the nutrition and dietetics profession. Through scholarships, fellowships, awards, grants, disaster relief and public education programs, the Foundation makes its mark on individuals, communities and the world. This month, I would like to spotlight some of the members who are making their mark as a result of support you have made possible through our Foundation.
