L’annonce du diagnostic de cancer constitue un traumatisme pour le patient. Celle d’une rechute ou d’une récidive l’est tout autant. Le sentiment d’être mortel entraîne une multitude de réactions souvent incompréhensibles pour une personne en bonne santé. Afin de mener à bien un entretien “chimiothérapie orale”, il est important d’avoir des notions de psycho-oncologie.

The announcement of a cancer diagnosis is traumatic for the patient. The news of a relapse or recurrence is just as traumatic. The feeling of being dead leads to a multitude of reactions that are often incomprehensible to a healthy person. In order to carry out an “oral chemotherapy” interview, it is important to have some knowledge of psycho-oncology.
