Highlights |
• | Tracheal intubation can be usually difficult despite a good glotic visualization when double-lumen tubes are used. |
• | The shape of the VL blade and the tube should be coupled, so a double curved shape for double lumen tube is reasonable. |
• | The sequential-rotation technique is also reasonable when a McGrath® VideoLaryngoscope is used. |
• | The wrong placement of the bronchial tip is frequent with this technique, but the risk of airway trauma might be minimized. |
